Open every Saturday, the Vidovich tasting room provides an intimate and inviting space for all wine lovers. The tasting room features an outdoor patio that overlooks the entire Bay Area, making sure you will enjoy an unforgettable afternoon of wine indulgence.

Testarossa is a beautiful winery that was started in 1993. It lies close to Los Gatos, which produces premier California Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

At Testarossa, you get to taste premium wines surrounded by original stone cellars & expansive green fields. The tasting patio, as they call it, is an open space carrying notes of the 19th century, where you will enjoy their signature wines. 

Testarossa also has an indoor tasting room where you can enjoy the latest wine releases no matter the weather.

Lohr has two Wine Centers featuring warm hospitality and small-lot wines available only at the source. You have the option of tasting at their downtown San Jose pop-up or at their vineyard farmhouse in Paso Robles.

At the J.Lohr Paso Robles Wine Center, guests are able to enjoy seasonal selections and winery-exclusive wines as they take in views of the beautiful vineyard. The center is available Thursday through Monday by reservation. If you plan to visit, you should expect a 60-minute experience. This winery also offers both indoor and outdoor tastings.

For something closer to the city, guests are invited to visit the J. Lohr San Jose Wine Center. Just like the vineyard farmhouse, the city pop-up also allows reservations for indoor and outside seating, Thursday through Monday.

This winery derives its name from the word ‘coterie’ which means a small group with shared interests, which in this case is wine.

Coterie winery encourages guests to reserve their spot in advance, except on Fridays when a food popup is available, on a first-come, first served basis (no reservations).

Their tasting menu changes regularly, so they provide you with a list of available wines as you book on their website.

Alamitos Vineyards is a vineyard winery in San Jose. 

This winery serves you wines from a vintage 1964 Silver Streak trailer and a bar made from reclaimed 150yr old barn wood. They only offer outside tastings, where you can enjoy your wine overlooking breathtaking views of Quicksilver Park and the Almaden Reservoir.

Alamitos is open for tastings only on weekends: Sat & Sun 11am to 4pm. Last reservation is at 3pm.

They require you to make prior reservations. Each reservation includes a 60-minute outdoor wine tasting. They allow snacks.

Guglielmo winery, established in 1925 is a family-owned winery producing a wide variety of award-winning wines. 

Enjoy a wine tasting in a relaxing room made of large wooden beams, stone walls, and terracotta tile. In their own words, the winery’s tasting room allows you to ‘step back into old Italy’. They also offer monthly wine specials in the tasting room. 

The winery is roughly 20 minutes south of San Jose, 1.5 hours south of San Francisco and 45 minutes north of Monterey.

With advance reservations, this winery also offers custom guided tours depending on your desired experience and the number of people in your party.
