Fall is a special season for nature lovers, when leaves change their color and fall from the trees into crisp and inviting piles. Did you know that orange and yellow pigments are on the leaves all year long? You simply can’t see these colors because they’re covered by green produced by chlorophyll that gives trees their energy. As daylight hours decrease, trees produce less chlorophyll, letting the orange and yellow shine through. However, red and purple leaves are unique to the season since these colors are created during typical fall weather of warm days and cool nights.
Please be advised that we will need to temporarily shut off the water supply for maintenance purposes. This interruption is scheduled for:
Wednesday, October 4th at 1:00 PM.
We anticipate the work to take about 30 minutes.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
We would like to inform you about the upcoming tree trimming scheduled for Monday, October 9th, 2023. This maintenance work will temporarily impact parking spaces near the Podium building in the parking lot off Stevens Creek.
Date: Monday, October 9, 2023
Time: Tree trimming work will start around 8:30 AM and is expected to conclude around noon the same day.
Parking Restrictions: Cones and caution tape will mark the no parking area during this period.
Please note, any vehicles parked in the designated spaces during the tree trimming will be subject to towing at owner’s expense.
We appreciate your cooperation.
We love that our residents are festive and have beautiful fall displays in their homes or balconies. Please make sure your pumpkin finds its way to the dumpster once the season is over and all Halloween décor is removed. Don’t forget items/décor cannot be set on the balcony ledges.
Please make sure to use battery operated candles for your pumpkins and décor so candles are not being left unattended.
Thank you in advance for helping us enjoy the holiday safely.
October’s traditional birthstone is opal and the modern is tourmaline. Both stones are considered symbols of hope. The Astrological signs of Libra and Scorpio fall in the month of October. The word “October” is derived from the Latin root “octo” which means eight. October was originally the eighth month of the ancient roman calendar. Calendula, known for its healing properties, is the October flower.
We hope you’re enjoying your beautiful apartment!
Just a quick reminder that we want to keep our community looking great for everyone, so please don’t store personal items on your balcony or front door areas if they’re visible from the walkways. This includes things like umbrellas, tarps, trash bags, cleaning supplies, and anything other than management-approved patio furniture or seasonal decor. And while it’s great to have a little green on your balcony, please don’t put plants on the railings or ledges. We also ask that you refrain from shaking or hanging clothing, curtains, rugs, or any other coverings outside of your window or balcony.
Thanks for doing your part to keep our community looking its best!
A can of pumpkin puree is an excellent source of potassium, vitamin A and iron, and there are loads of ways to cook with this nutritional ingredient that will have you savoring the flavors of fall. Since many recipes for pumpkin desserts and baked goods often don’t use up an entire can, you can enjoy what’s left over by adding a scoop of the squash to chili, mashed potatoes or hummus. Mix a dollop of pumpkin with plain or vanilla Greek yogurt, add some to a protein shake or smoothie, or make your own pumpkin spice latte.
Residents can report noise complaints, parking violations, or suspicious activity to “ISC ILLYRIA SECURITY”– They can be reached after office hours between 7 PM- 5 AM through our main line option.

The Podium Wishes all Residents a Very Merry and Happy Holiday Season!
