Valter Nassi, owner and founder, has created the entire experience to be reminiscent of his mother’s kitchen in Italy, giving you the full Tuscan experience.  Valter is often known to walk around the restaurant and introduce himself to guests, chatting with them personally, and ensuring their experience is everything they could hope for.

Favorite appetizers such as the tutta pasta di valter, a pasta sampler, and chopped agnelli salad are divine ways to start your meal.  Popular main courses include chicken with Marsala sauce, spaghetti carbonara, and the butternut squash and sage ravioli.  One thing many say about this Salt Lake City restaurant, don’t skip the dessert.  Our recommendations are the “Hot Chocolate” and the lemon gelato served with local honey and salt!

With high praise from the community, Takashi is considered one of the best places in Salt Lake City to get authentic Japanese sushi and cuisine.  They fly fresh fish in daily for the absolute best sushi rolls around.  If sushi rolls aren’t your style, but you love Japanese food, then they have you covered with their rice bowls, soups, salads, non-fish menu items, and desserts!

Fan favorites include sushi rolls, with creative names, such as Little Mermaid, Puff the Magic Dragon, and Strawberry Fields.  Other favorites of the non-sushi variety include crunchy fried calamari, natsu flank steak, and panna cotta for dessert!

We already talked about an Italian restaurant, but pizza has become a cuisine all of its own these days!  Settebello Pizzeria Napoletana will not disappoint your pizza needs!  This amazing pizzeria is only 1.2 miles away from our C9 Flats apartments!

This restaurant started out with two brothers who lived in Italy for a period of time, fell in love with authentic pizza making, and brought it back to the US.  Sure, you could order a pepperoni pizza from Settebello, if you want.  Wouldn’t you rather try the Margherita which clients rave about, though?  How about the Pizza Brisket for mixing up your typical pizza toppings?  Or try the savory focaccia for an appetizer?

Settebello has everything you could want for your pizza cravings.  They have even more than you want to.  Try their special Nutella Pizza for dessert to see what we mean.  You will not be disappointed.

Settebello will replace your favorite pizza place and is one of our all-time favorite restaurants in Salt Lake City!

Manoli’s is a premiere location for all your Mediterranean cuisine needs!  Located .8 miles from our Nexus on 9th apartments, this restaurant could become your go-to restaurant in Salt Lake City for walking down the street and picking up lunch for a lazy day at home.

Looking for a brunch menu with a Mediterranean flare?  Manoli’s has what you are craving.  Loukaniko and eggs, Greek toast, and Myzithra pancakes are only the start to your brunch cravings.  People also praise their biscuits and gravy and Lamb Burgers!

Trying to find a good dinner spot?  Manoli’s as appetizers for vegetarians, meat lovers, and those craving some Mediterranean seafood! Popular main courses include makaronia, lamb burgers, and psari psito.  The owner, Manoli, is often at the restaurant talking with customers and cooking up dishes himself!  This makes Manoli’s one of the most consistent quality Salt Lake City restaurants.

Freshie’s Lobster Co. strikes the balance of seafood and American cuisine with finesse!  The best part is our Nexus on 9th apartments are only a short .9 miles away!

This popular restaurant has three locations AND a traveling food truck which has been all over the map in the US!  People far and wide know how good Freshie’s is and we would be remiss if we didn’t include them as one of our favorite restaurants in Salt Lake City!  Whether you show up for lobster rolls or clam chowder or something else entirely, you will not be disappointed!

Some fan favorites are the XL Lobster roll with 5 ounces of lobster, Lobster Mac, and the Blueberry BBQ Chicken sandwich.  Even natives of the East Coast call Freshie’s Lobster Rolls some of the best they have ever had.  There isn’t much more to say about how good this place is without letting you try it yourself!
