DIWALI HOLIDAY-NOVEMBER 1, 2024 REMINDER!

Please keep in mind that we DO NOT allow earthen lamps or candles to be lit outside your front door or anywhere on the premises due to potential fire hazard. As an alternative to traditional candles, you could use LED candles on the evening/night of November 1, but they must be removed on November 2, 2024.

Kindly keep in mind that it is prohibited to use anything with a flame! No Fireworks, or Fire Crackers allowed. While everyone loves to light crackers in their balconies or outside their apartment, it is not allowed as it can lead to a serious fire hazard.

Meat & Cheese Pockets

Ingredients:
1 lb. frozen bread dough (thawed)
2 ½ cups finely chopped meat (any you prefer)
1 cup shredded cheese
1 large egg yolk
1 tbsp water

Directions:
Let dough rise according to package directions.
Punch down; divide into 10 pieces. On a lightly floured surface, roll each piece into a 5-in. circle.
Preheat oven to 375°. Place 1 circle on a greased baking sheet; top with about 1/4 cup ham and 2 tablespoons cheese to within 1/2 in. of edge. Press filling to flatten. Combine egg yolk and water; brush edges of dough. Fold dough over filling and pinch edges to seal. Repeat with remaining dough and filling. Brush tops with remaining egg yolk mixture.
Bake until golden brown, 15-20 minutes. Serve warm or cold.

RAINY SEASON, BALCONY REMINDER!

Make sure to keep your balconies clean, and free of debris, leaves, and boxes. If balconies cannot drain, the water will back up and flood into apartments, causing major damage to you and your neighbors’ apartments!
If your balcony drain is clogged, please report it to The Podium office immediately.

Residents can report noise complaints, parking violations, or suspicious activity to “ISC ILLYRIA SECURITY” –
