Trolley Square was built in 1972 as a trendy shopping center with brick and wooden floors and winding hallways.

It houses over 45+ retail spaces in a unique shopping center which was once used to hold street cars from the days of the street car system in Salt Lake City.  Large barns for storing these cars have been converted into retail space, but have kept much of the unique infrastructure, to create a shopping mall with lots of convenient places to shop while being able to take in and appreciate some creative and ingenious architecture.  They also have a wonderful theme during the winter holiday season which makes Trolley Square a hit destination for sightseeing, too!
